Pr. Ahmed EL MOUKHTARI

Dr Ahmed EL MOUKHTARI, obtained his doctoral degree in Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology from Sorbonne University, Paris, France in cotutelle with the Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Beni Mellal, Morocco. After, he gained post-doc experience from Sorbonne University, Paris, France. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor (Department of Biology) at the Faculty of Science Ben M’Sick, Hassan II University, Casablanca, Morocco. Dr Ahmed has more than 5 years of experience in research on plant-microbe interaction, abiotic stress tolerance, nutrient use efficiency, water use efficiency, and isolation of beneficial microbes and their use for more effective plant growth. Dr Ahmed has collaborated with many researchers from different countries around the world, including France, Belgium, Switzerland, China, Algeria, and Tunisia. Moreover, he has authored large number of articles in international reputed journals, including Chemosphere, Frontiers in Plant Sciences, Journal of Soil Sciences and Plant Nutrition, Saudi Journal of Biological Sciences, Symbiosis, Silicon, etc. Dr Ahmed is a reviewer in several international journals, including Nature, Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, BMC Plant Biology, Silicon, etc. He has been invited to many national and international conferences.
