Pr. Elhoussin elbouchikhi
Elhoussin Elbouchikhi (S'12, M'18, SM’19) received the diploma engineer degree in Automatic and Electrical Engineering and Research Master's degree in Automatic Systems, Computer Science and Decision, from the National Polytechnic Institute of Toulouse (INP-ENSEEIHT), Toulouse, France, in 2010, and the Ph.D. and the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Brest, France, in 2013 and 2020, respectively.
After receiving the Ph.D. degree, he has been a Post-Doctoral Researcher at ISEN Ouest, Brest campus, France, and an Associate Member of the LBMS Laboratory (EA 4325) from October 2013 to September 2014. From September 2014 to June 2020, he has been an Associate Professor at ISEN Ouest, Brest campus, France and a member of the Institut de Recherche Dupuy de Lôme (UMR CNRS 6027). Since June 2022, he is a Professor in Electrical Engineering and Automatic Control at ISEN Ouest, Nantes Campus, where he is in charge of the master’s degree apprenticeship program.
His main current research interests and experience include power systems control and health monitoring, fault tolerant control in tidal stream turbines, and signal processing and machine learning for power systems monitoring. He is also interested in energy management systems in microgrids, electric vehicles charging stations, and renewable energy applications and hybrid generation systems.
